This summer (which although the temperature is confusing me still has a few weeks left) has led to a few situations where I found myself nauseous. There have been a few plane rides, rounds on the Tilt-A-Whirl with my kids, and some smells that just don’t agree with me. No, I’m not expecting a baby, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t get an upset stomach.

While the Happy Mama Spray can be used by pregnant mamas to fight morning sickness, it can also be used to help with an upset stomach, just like I used it for after my rounds on the Tilt-A-Whirl. I simply sprayed it on my wrists and took a sniff. While it didn’t last all day (about two hours at the strength I liked), I didn’t have to carry the bottle around with me everywhere.
(Okay, I’ll admit, it’s got it’s place in my overstuffed bag because I honestly never know when the tummy troubles may hit.)
With no harsh artificial products, I feel safe using the spray. And the smell? Ah-mazing. Lime and ginger are obvious scents, but the essential oils leave a nice, fresh smell, too. There’s no worry about wearing the spray and making someone else’s tummy turn. (Raise your hand if you’ve been the victim of passing by someone who bathed in perfume. Ahem.)
You can spray Happy Mama Spray on your wrists, in the air, or on your bed sheets depending on when and where you need the relief. Personally, I sometimes wake up with vertigo in the mornings, so to just grab my sheet and smell the spray is a godsend. And I’ve heard others say they’ve used the spray to cleanse the air after a sick child, great idea!
